I researched for a couple of martial art places before deciding on Versus. They are the best of what they do. Head instructor Rodrigo is extremely patient with kids. Samara is very friendly and willing to work with everyone. My kids love going to class and look forward to it each time. They have increased their confidence within a couple of sessions. I've been training at Versus under Professor Rodrigo for just under a year now and I tell everyone it is one of the best things that has happened to me. The gym has a great family atmosphere where everyone knows each other and encourages each other to grow and improve as athletes on and off the mats. Being at Versus, you get the opportunity to have an instructor like Rodrigo who personally knows all of his students. He knows everyone's strengths, weaknesses and knows how to communicate in order to get them to improve and will also spend time after class answering any questions you might have about anything. It's a great environment and I will be having both of my children join once they're of age.

Versus Jiu Jitsu Academy is the best academy out there. Professor Rodrigo is a very good professor and teaches you all sorts of techniques and strategies. He is very close with every single one of his students and helps every single individual. He came to all my tournaments, even when I was the only student competing, and helped me throughout all my matches. Samara is also very nice and sweet. She listens to every single one of your concerns and helps a lot. They are both very friendly and good people. I highly recommend Versus to anyone of all ages. You won’t regret joining!!!

Rodrigo's Jiu-Jitsu journey began at age 11 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Under Robson Medeiros “Pit” and Phellipe Lira's mentorship, he excelled, becoming a black belt by 2013. After relocating to the US, Rodrigo opened his own academy in Natick, MA, blending teaching with his competitive drive.
Our academy welcomes all ages and genders, offering specialized programs for children and comprehensive physical conditioning. Led by experienced professionals, our classes focus on improving physical, mental, and technical skills.
